Whether you, or someone you know, are under stress, dealing with an acute physical or emotional trauma or simply wish to maintain optimal wellness, Thai Massage and Zero Balancing are two ideal means.
Zero Balancing
A simple, yet powerful hands-on method of balancing body energy with body structure. Taught internationally since 1973 by Dr. Fritz Smith, Zero Balancing integrates a Western anatomical view of the skeletal system with Eastern concepts of energy and healing. The intent of a Zero Balancing session is the integration of the client's body energy with their body structure. This integration can reduce physical and emotional pain, alleviate symptoms of stress & improve the ability to deal with life stresses, relieve musculoskeletal tension, enhance wellness and promote feelings of well-being.
A Zero Balancing session is designed to promote maximum relaxation and a sense of well-being. A session generally lasts thirty to forty minutes and takes place on a massage table, with the client fully clothed. Using conscious touch and gentle lifting and pulling techniques the ZB practitioner evaluates areas of restrictions and helps balance your structures as needed. Throughout the zero balancing session, attention is given to the skeleton in particular, because it contains the deepest and strongest currents of energy.

Thai Yoga Bodywork
Steeped in the ancient healing arts of Thailand, with deeper roots in India from the time of the Buddha, the sacred healing treatment of Thai Massage integrates mindfulness, biomechanical and energetic alignment and therapeutic touch. Through a series of rhythmic compressions, gentle rocking, stretching and joint mobilization, the practitioner assists the client in realizing greater health and wellness. It's like having yoga done to you.
The intent of a Thai Yoga Bodywork session is to stimulate the body's innate healing capacity. A session is generally 90 minutes, though can be done in shorter or longer periods, it takes place on a futon on the floor, with the client fully clothed. The result is a relaxing and rejuvenating experience, promoting a sense and feeling of well being.
